Born 2 Crank 02:51
i don’t know how much longer i can stand this pain cause in this world its either grain or be grained all these fuckers trying to keep me down don’t they know i'm the best printer in town i'm tired of all of your shit i'm moving up to 320 grit cause baby i was born to crank i came out with a roller in my hand and maybe if you sponge for me i'll ink you up and help you understand they said i could never work with touche or do multi-layers they said there’s no use but i just plug my ears up with gum 18” by 24” here i come and if you try to make me stop i'll burn you out with a 20 drop cause baby i was born to crank i came out with a roller in my hand and maybe if you sponge for me i'll ink you up and help you understand

i’ve been getting stoned everyday and i mean that in quite a literal way printing is my prince and the press is my mistress working round the clock, graining and etching in the shop my fingers stained with ink it never stops rosin in my hair, white like talc my piercing stare caked in grease i cannot cease the music of the gears that bring me to life i’ll spend my days cutting paper and sanding edges down if this is wrong than i don’t want to be right from the rock where i was hewn to the crypt that is my tomb i lived, i live, i lived, i live to crank! color clouds my eyes as i start to make monotypes picking special places for you fill my world with orange red pink and blue i stick to you like ink sticks to grease to say that i love you would be saying the least from the rock where i was hewn to the crypt that is my tomb i lived, i live, i lived, i live to crank! i lived, i live, i lived, i live to crank! i loved, i love, i loved, i love to crank!

i used to crank everyday but now that press seems so far away i try to touch the sparkling quarries up above your memory’s a ghost of the image i once loved when i wake up i feel so strange it seems as if the world has suddenly changed i long to grasp a levigator in my hand but sometimes things don’t go as you planned roll me up with gamblin’s when i die wash me out and leave me there to dry buff me till i'm clean no more lithotine shut off the sink, turn out the lights dreaming of the printing parties on late nights my dear slab, i’ll think about you now and then here’s one last goodbye until we meet again until we meet again
